Hey Victor, thanks for you answer.

This bug is easily reproducible on 14.04 as well as 15.10 but i don't think
is related to Thunderbird; just because same Tbird tar.gz (38.6) file
downloaded
from mozilla.org causing issues on the above versions,  seems working
very well on others distro like Centos where i was unable to reproduce it.

I  was just wondering if there is any possibility to find out the root
cause and maybe
fix it ?
