[xubuntu-users] USB camera being recognized

If the camera is old enough, it _should_ be recognized and mounted as a USB
memory device, instead of a PTP, the same as if the memory card had been
pulled and connected on its own. I don't remember anyone recommending using
fdisk -l
(lower case L) to find the device description, such
as /dev/sdh , and mounting the camera manually, like:
sudo mkdir
/media/camera
sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sdh /media/camera -o uid=1000,gid=1000
This should mount the camera as a memory device owned by the user.
