[xubuntu-users] xfce won't continue after login (possible fstab issue?)

Hi,

Recently I transferred some of my system directories to a new hard drive 
and modified fstab accordingly.  I've dutifully checked the uuid's to 
make sure that they match the dev directories.  Now, when I go to login 
to xfce the login box will register as 'correct', but then bring up 
another login box immediately.  I'm trapped in an endless cycle of login 
boxes.

Do changes in the fstab require certain changes in the xfce 
configuration files?  Which configuration file[s] need to be 
updated/corrected to solve this problem?
