[xubuntu-users] xfce won't continue after login (possible fstab issue?)

no, if the drive would have not been recognized you would have seen a
screen that told you so and asked to skip the mounting attempt.
you have to go to a tty, login and delete the files .Xauthority and
.ICEauthority from your home directory, then try to login as usual
