[xubuntu-users] Need advice re abiword vs. libreoffice

Abiword doesn't have as good import filters (e.g. msoffice) as Libreoffice
and lacks many features though is very lightweight. Libreoffice is a much
more complex program, with some parts even using java, but it is probably
the best free office suite around. Other suites for Linux/Ubuntu include
koffice, IBM lotus symphony(not open source), as well as of course online
suites such such as Soho and Google docs.
