I watched some UDS-R videos on

and I noticed that lubuntu still ships alternate install cds:

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/quantal/release/lubuntu-12.10-alternate-i386.iso
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/quantal/release/lubuntu-12.10-alternate-amd64.iso

And each of the lubuntu .isos still fit on a cd.
