[ubuntu-za] Libre Office - Ordinal Numbers

I am used to Open office automatically "superscripting" the ordinal
suffices - ie automatically making the "st", ""nd", and "rd" in 1st,
2nd and 3rd suffices (or is it suffixes?). I am now using 12.04 and
Libre Office and this does not work any more - I do have the boxes
ticked in Tools > Autocorrect > Local Options. Should I also set it
somewhere else?

And - does anyone know how to do this in Afrikaans? ie to include "de"
in the list?
