Hi Nick

There is a hack to disable updates - maybe the guys on the list have a
better idea.

Copy your original /etc/apt/sources.list file to
/etc/apt/sources.list-backup.
Then open /etc/apt/sources.list and delete everything.

Also check /etc/apt/sources.list.d folder for other sources.
