Hi There
last year at the Software Freedom Day event in Pretoria  I demonstrated 
that in 6 minutes I could do a complete installation of
a Ubuntu Lamp Server.

This is a little known fact that you can download a pre-installed Ubuntu 
server in a ISO file
Which gives you all your needed LAMP servers : MySQL , Apache plus PHP 
and a very simple text management interface

The file you need is:
turnkey-lamp-2009.10-hardy-x86.iso

Get it here:

I see that they have published many pre-configured servers built on 
Ubuntu Server
