The interesting thing that I discovered (yes, I'm a newbie as well) is
that you can literally type in the name of the page that you want to
create and it will create it for you, so if I wanted to create: a page
for Ubuntu is Great, I would just type in the url on my browser:

http://www.ubuntu-za.org/Wiki/UbuntuIsGreat

and it will allow you to create the page there.
or you could say
http://www.ubuntu-za.org/Wiki/KyleWilliams/HowILearnedToMakeWikiPages
and it should create it :-) (I hope)
