I installed it through Synaptic Package Manager. I looked at the Mozilla
site for install instructions but all they give are for Windows.
I typed in thunderbird in the terminal and it said it wasn't installed. Then
told me how to install it. Looks like it worked. It would have been nice if
Mozilla said something about that on their install instructions.
