</div>Have you tried opening a console and typing in 'thunderbird'? Or<br>
'icedove'? I never keep it straight how Ubuntu names the binary?<br>

And just out of curiousity, how did you install Thunderbird to begin<br>
with? It might make sense to uninstall it and then install it from the<br>
CLI and see what errors you might get from there.<br>

I looked at the Mozilla site for install instructions but all they give are for Windows.<br><br>I typed in thunderbird in the terminal and it said it wasn't installed. Then told me how to install it. Looks like it worked. It would have been nice if Mozilla said something about that on their install instructions.<br>
