Hi,
Hope You and family are fine.
I am Tanvir from Karachi Pakistan.
I want to help translate Ubuntu in Urdu, or lets say in trying.
But cant see where I could contact Roseta Admins, they say that no language is defined for Pakistan. I want to define that it is URDU our mother and official language.
Also need some help as how to define plurals, surely I read then help for that, but that is little bit more confusing then helping :-)
Hope to hear from You soon.
Regards,
Tanvir.

In gnome-utils package seems to be the same. And there will be much more
packages. I thing it's translators fault (or they don't know which
format to use - answer is: same as in date program (man date)). I fix it
for Slovak. Fix it for your language.
Something another:
I have same problem as Ljubisa Radovanovic. I translated offline .po
file (control-center-2.0 for Slovak language) downloaded from
rosetta. I upload it to rosetta, everything seems OK. I got message:
"Thank you for your upload. The translation content will appear in
Rosetta in a few minutes." but after two days, package is still
untranslated. I reported it as bug but who can put that file on server?
I don't want to loose 700 translations.

Hi,
Just a note about translator comment with an example with current
gtk/pl.po:
"#. do not translate the part before the |
msgid "progress bar label|%d %%"
msgstr "progress bar label|%d %%""
This creates such issue with labels:
https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16536
The cs, pl, pt, sk have this issue with the current package, a bunch of
other locale have similar bug on other things. That's a small bug but
can be ugly, so feel free to go and fix them for your locale :)
One feature suggestion for Rosetta could be to auto-fix or make a
summary of such issues maybe :)
Cheers,
Sebastien Bacher
