** Description changed:

  This is a regression in Thunderbird 13/13.0.1, Thunderbird 12 doesn't
  seem to exhibit this behavior.
  
  Note: this env was in a test-vm, I can't seem to reproduce this on my
  host laptop OS
  
  Step one might be optional.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1.  import cert
  2.  go to account that now SSL auth, but prompts for password
  3.  Hit ESC
  
  Usually after one or 2 tries of hitting ESC or clicking cancel, the
  desktop will hang.  Only keyboard input is accessible.  I've reproduced
  this in Thunderbird 13 in various permutations from lucid-precise.  This
  is with and without unity.
  
+ Symptoms:
+ Mouse moves, global menu appears on hover over and disappears on hover out, clicks aren't recognized, killing thunderbird returns full mouse control

  Attaching a gdb backtrace
  
  apport-bug says it's not an official package (I thought we fixed that
