Maverick graphics driver updates?

At present in Maverick repositories, we have:

mesa 7.8.1
xserver-xorg-video-radeon 6.13.0
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.11.0
xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 0.0.16+git20100518

Does it make sense to move to mesa 7.8.2, intel 2.12.0, radeon 6.13.1
and potentially a newer nouveau snapshot as early as possible, to
maximise exposure?

Would it help if I opened a launchpad request, due to the debian import freeze?
