Yep, thought you were a cyclist . . . I have an olde Trek 1000 from the
80's and a Lightning Phantom from '13 or '14??
Anyway, on the ride I was mulling over your cryptic statement that, "Your
Downloads folder is not your Downloads folder . . . maaannnn . . . " cue
voice of George Carlin . . . . And I finally got it, "My Downloads folder
is not my Downloads folder . . . it's the snaps Download folder . . ." so I
get it now, but still it seems to be a PITA . . . . I try to look around
to see if there are any "clues" before I start posting my verbosity on
forums . . . but I didn't notice anything that would have told me, "this is
a snaps image of a home folder that isn't showing you anything" so that I
could perhaps look around for where that might be . . . .
Or, why don't "they" have a folder in the list of default folders that
would be labeled "snaps home folders" . . . so we could mouse our way
there, or have a clue that snaps has "hijacked" our home files, but doesn't
show them . . . ?????? Then if we complain about snaps they diagnose us
as, "passive-aggressive" and say we are trying to "hijack a thread" . . . .
😤🤕🤔
