If you're name-dropping George Carlin you are most certainly not young
XD I do my best thinking on a bike, too. Anyways, yeah, it's a little
strange. I know the reason why (sandboxing) but I agree it's a poor user
experience. Unfortunately, that's about all I can offer. Beyond that,
it's a matter of talking to the Snap team. I *HIGHLY* recommend you make
friends with Alan Pope/popey who responded to your thread as he plays a
role not unlike a community liason in his employment at Canonical. If
anyone can help you communicate effectively to the right people, it's
him.
