Calling Kubuntu Inkscape users

Hey, thanks for the test. I don't know what to say really. It's still a 
mystery to me then.

What I have found is that when I turn off the GTK-QT style thingy -- i.e. let 
GTK run on it's native theme -- that Inkscape is much quicker and, so far, it 
has not crashed or had an issue. 

I have also tested it under Gnome (installed it today) and Inkscape flies like 
crazy - much faster than under KDE - but I have not had time to stress it 
yet.
