(K)ubuntu and SCSI drive only machine

Dear HarryG,
I do not understand you anymore, first you mentioned that there are ONLY CSI 
devices and now you come up with both, IDE and SCSI. If there is/are IDE 
devices in your system they always prevail over SCSI despite your bios 
settings they will be overruled.
