[xubuntu-users] I fucked up my system.

Not sure if this might help you. But some time ago after a regular update,
I could no longer boot or reboot my Lenovo laptop to my XFCE desktop. So I
boot via Safe Mode. I found out by trial and error and other peoples'
experience that I need to hit F11 repeatedly AFTER the Lenovo icon appears
in order to boot the machine into safe mode. Most of the time it doesn't
work on first try but always works the second or third time. I've gotten so
used to doing this that it isn't even a bother, although I generally leave
my machine on all the time in order to reduce the number of times I have to
go through this process. If this has nothing to do with your issue, kindly
disregard my amateurish attempt.
