[xubuntu-users] video problem after installation on DVD

UPDATE: I just got a reply on another list from someone who installed
Linux on, as they said, basically the same computer I'm using. So this
was the gist of it: NO graphical installer will work, definitely not
Ubuntu 16.04 (and I'm assuming that includes Xubuntu). Arch Linux will,
but not unless I load it up first with the drivers (but then, how?).
Suggestion was to use Debian, and right now, I'm waiting to hear back to
see if there's a specific version, or more to the point, a specific iso,
that I need to use. I'll post more updates when I have them.
