[xubuntu-users] Resolved: Filezilla & SFTP Problem

I posted sometime ago about loosing the ability to make SFTP connections using 
Filezilla, running Xubuntu 14.04.

Installation of Xubuntu 16.04 resolved the issue. One wise list user suggested 
that I needed to upgrade to a later version of Filezilla to overcome a change 
in the manner that my hosting service validates connections. He was correct.

Now, after upgrading to Xubuntu 16.04, a later version of Filezilla is 
available in repositories - Version 3.15.0.2. I had been unable to find a 
method to install a newer version of Filezilla while using Xubuntu 14.04.

Problem solved.
