Hi Gustavo
I hear you, and being a windows slave for decades I know exactly what
you're contending with.
In my newbie and humble opinion, you have two easy solutions:
1- Broadcast an email to all your users to right click on the selected file
and get used to use the pop up options therein offered, which are fool proof
2 - I don't know how to do it, so I'd ask the Xubuntu folks how to add the
pop up notification of the Delete option onto the Move to trash option.
To me personally, even as a heavy (ex) windows user, that's totally
unnecessary... but then again, I do use my brain and still have some common
sense haha...
However, fun aside, please consider this...
You are moving at least 40 individuals from windows to linux... from a
brain-dead- making operating system into a brain-stimulating operating
system.
If you start literally replicating windows features into your linux distro,
you are not only NOT moving away from windows to linux (as you are just
bloating up your linux until it becomes a replica of windows with all the
downsides of it that made you want to move away from it in the first place)
but you are also NOT helping 40 individuals to drop bad and unproductive
habbits and start beneffiting from the intellectual development and growth
that linux has to offer them.
Just my personal and humble opinion, mind you...
Hope it gives you food for thought and helps...
Regards
Joao
