[xubuntu-users] Is there a Linux Distro with MS Word Pre installed?

Ubuntu and it's spin off distros such as Xubuntu come pre-installed with
LibreOffice which import/exports to MS Word etc. MS Word in Linux would be
like trying to fit a Ford part in a Chevy... they simply are not made for
each other. There are solutions available to include but not limited to a
number of word processors such as LibreOffice and OpenOffice. My
experience in helping people start with Linux is that Xubuntu tends to be
the least troublesome most intuitive distro available for new users. The
Software Center makes it easy to install and uninstall a variety of
applications so you can fit the system to your needs. There are solutions
available to get MS software to work on Linux but that is a discussion for
another time but they do exist. Good luck in your search.
