That's no problem. As you say, it's always been there (has to be
somewhere, even if only for the record).

No, too late for that. I don't see it as critical except for new users.
Plus it didn't used to be there, so obviously something else was changed
which has unexpectedly triggered it, and it's not there on my other
encrypted machines, so it might be a result of the weird hardware in
laptops.
