[xubuntu-users] Total system freeze, hard reboot.

This is where I am atm.

My system is:
Acer ES1-711-P14W
Xubuntu 15.04
Kernel 3.19.0-26-generic (x86_64)
Intel Pentium CPU N3540 @ 2.16 GHz x4
8 GB Ram
gpu Intel atom processor z36xxx/z37xxx
Ethernet Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller

After trying to get repeated failure this is where I stand...

When I run a video with compositor turned on I get reproducible freezes, 
usually inside of 30 minutes.  Also, when I run a video or game without 
compositor *and* hdmi plugged in on a second monitor/tv I get a total 
freeze with one difference; the sound is stuck in a loop on the last bit 
it played.  Parole seemed to freeze much less than vlc.  In either case 
the video showed obvious frame drops every so often.

Will be filing a bug report and deal with no compositor for the time being.
