[xubuntu-users] Are *Ubuntu Based Distro's Dying?

Sorry for jumping in; people are changing rapidly these days and it
seems as though they cannot live without their mobile phones taped to
their ears and a tablet or lappy burning their eyes until the wee hours.
My take for what it's worth; regardless of system used (windoze, mac
etc) people cannot live today without these things so it kind of makes
one think that even a 'free' system such as Ubuntu will always be worked
upon to try and keep people glued to their monitors/tv's. We are headed
down a very dark, twisting road because we never bother to look outside
the window to see whats going on, we believe the news broadcasts and
take them for granted - mostly lies of course, but when you are trying
to turn the human race into mere robotic morons without them noticing
it....well, that's my observation anyway.
