This is minor, but how do I change the colors of the window menus?
I'm using the Bluebird theme with elementary Xfce darker icon
settings, and I have change the colors in the Theme Configuration
settings, but they don't seem to have any effect.
I was concerned because the colors in, say, the calculator I have (I
use the gnome-calculator because I don't like the one that comes with
Xubuntu 14.04) are difficult to read. The menus come up with white
letters on light gray background, which is hard to read and ugly (to
me).
I have the xterm colors set the way I like them, but those are clearly
xterm-specific.
LO, Chrome, Firefox and others all seem to have their own color
schemes for these things, and they are fine, though not in accordance
with my settings.
I'm wondering why the theme configured colors seem to have no effect
on this. What do they affect?
And, of course, how do I fix them?
Thanks.
