I didn't mean to start a "flame war".... just an end to mixing both
which I think we have agreed on!
Ben - have you tried gmail basic html view option (as it calls itself)
instead of the standard - like gmail UI used to be. It kindly removes
signature and leaves the rest in place which is perhaps what you want
like me (no ellipsis, or collapsing quotes. Only alternative I found
was an email client and Alpine's remote configuration was best for me
and the only one fast enough to cope with my amount of mail.
