[xubuntu-users] Keyboard configuration.

Hello,

I am a long time user of Linux and Ubuntu, under Xubuntu for 2-3 years 
now, I love it.

My hard disk died on an older machine, installed a new one and installed 
Xubuntu 13.10 from a USB key.  Everything went fine.

I must not have picked the right language / keyboard configuration at 
installation time since my keyboard is not correct for French Canadian 
(different layout than French France).  How do I change this, for myself 
and other accounts on the same machine??  I tried through «Parameters 
Settings» «Keyboard», then unticking the box «defaults system 
parameters» and selecting «French (Canada)» in the below box, but seems 
to have no effect, even after rebooting.
