[xubuntu-users] Installing Xubuntu on an old XP machine.

Hello,

I am trying to install Xubuntu 14.10 on an old Pentium 4 machine running
Windows XP.

From my Notebook running Xubuntu 12.10 I used UNetbootin to download a
bootable Xubuntu 14.10 image on a USB stick. Downloaded and installed
on the USB key correctly, at least this is what UNetbootin says.

Then on the XP machine I went in the BIOS to change the boot order,
setting the USB flash drive first in that boot order. But no matter
what, the machine boots on the hard drive, hence XP and not on the USB
stick although I see the little blue light of the USB stick clicking a
few times at start up.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Gérald
