I have tried with nomodeset, other video driver (mach64, ati, etc) but
Xubuntu 14.04 LTS don't work with my old Vaio PCG-FX705. Also Lubuntu
14.04.01 don't work.
The MX14 works but don't support my PCMCIA wifi based on BCM4318.
I remain with Xubuntu 12.04 LTS.
Regards,
John
