[xubuntu-users] Trusty screensaver

I notice that Trusty no longer uses xscreensaver but instead uses the
LockScreen app.

LockScreen doesn't work across synergy, and while xscreensaver has its
interesting quirks, it does and it presents some nice display options
as well as screen power down.

Is there a safe way to re-enable xscreensaver in its place?
