Try this for a night or so... through power management and screensaver
both ensure all options to go to suspend, sleep, hibernate, etc is
turned off so the system won't automatically go to sleep. This may
include adjusting the xorg.conf file as described on this list a week or
so ago. Then at night manually "Lock Screen" and turn off the monitor
to conserve power (assuming this is a desktop or attached monitor). If
it can go a night or two without going catawampus then we know it's the
suspend.
reasoning... I have had issues with any form of hibernate (suspend,
sleep, etc.) on any OS that I don't even bother. Locking the screen
does not seem to affect my system so it is my work around which is all
it is; a work around. If this proves out to be the suspend or sleep
mode then we at least have a direction towards a solution.
