[xubuntu-users] What to Expect in Xubuntu 14.04 LTS (omgubuntu.co.uk)

Is using mobile-broadband connections on Linux as easy as using it on XP ?
How to set the connection; How to choose cdma, gsm, hsdpa, etc. etc.
I think many ex-users of XP rely on mobile-broadband connection.
