That's a nice write-up.

File the following under suggestions:

In my experience, Windows users (once they really start using Linux and 
get over missing their fav pet software) have a hard time with MIME 
handling. It's still a messy and unintuitive affair in Linux. Sometimes 
one has the option to right click and "open with", sometimes one 
doesn't. Sometimes a list of "Other Applications" pops up, sometimes 
just a blank window inviting the perplexed user to find it themselves. 
If the average Linux user doesn't know where software is installed, the 
average Windows user doesn't have a chance. I'd love to see Xubuntu (and 
linux distros in general) improve MIME handling. Linux's usability has 
already improved by leaps and bounds.
