[xubuntu-users] Network Manager is missing the "use as hotspot" button. Is this a special version for Xubuntu? How do I easily set up a hotspot?

I've recently returned to Xubuntu after growing tired with the bloat of
Ubuntu. I love Xubuntu and am happy I changed, and with very minor
issues I continue to learn my way around.

I recently found a need to share my wired internet access via wifi. Last
time I did this, a couple of years ago, I used Network Manager to create
a hotspot. This was easy, as there was a big friendly button labeled
"Use as Hotspot" which did just what I want. Back then, I was using Ubuntu.

Now this button is missing, and I don't know if that's part of Network
Manager's progress or if it's a special version of Network Manager for
Xubuntu. Does anyone know?

More importantly, how do I set up a hotspot as easily as I used to be
able to?

The laptop is the same one, so I know the card supports AP mode.

Thanks,
Michael
