[xubuntu-users] Is there an xubuntu equivalent of lubuntu-core?

How do I know what they are?  There are probably hundreds of them, if
not thousands.

I just did a quick comparison of a 'full' xubuntu install with a
lubuntu-core (plus a few bits).  There are something like 500 more
packages installed on the full install machine.
