[xubuntu-users] Saving sessions, only possible *not* to save sessions in the logout menu, is that right?

As per the subject.  Is it really only possible *not* to save one's
session if one logs out as opposed to using the shutdown or restart
options?

This is a real pain in the **** if so.  I nearly always simply shut my
system down when I've finished using it, I don't want my session saved,
I want the session I've carefully confiugured previously to come back,
not the mess I've left just before I shut down.
