Hi Elizabeth,
while I don't like to communicate what operating system or desktop
environment I use, I like the logo versions of the rat/mouse. Perhaps I
print one of the logos to a tee, just because it's nice art, not to
communicate that I'm a *nix Xfce user.
Regarding to H2G2 (not to confuse with R2-D2) mice anyway own the
earth :D and btw. my homes too [1].
I wonder if it's a rat or mouse. IIRC it should be a rat, but more often
people call it a mouse.

When I installed a new Linux to my *nix multi-boot I only thought about
the uid, when thinking about sharing files between several Linux
installs. I forgot that the names of the paths are important too. I
could call the user whatever_mouse and name the home folders different,
but for older installs ist should be spinymouse and for new installs
rocketmouse so the mice breed by "ln -s".
