[xubuntu-users] Shutdown problem - xubuntu 12.10 Asus N56V

Hi,
  I've just installed a fresh copy of Xubuntu (with updates) on my Asus
N56V and I"m having a slight problem.
  When  click shutdown the laptop will actually reboot/restart. Though it
will shutdown if I use the command line with;

'shutdown -h now'

Is there a workaround for this issue?
