I'm using Opera as my main browser for about 7 years (or more?), and
Xfce as my main DE for about 5 years. Both rock, although Opera is
sometimes hard on memory usage (but the same can be said of Firefox).
With time you get over the fact that it's close-source: it's very well
designed and does its job very well.
