That is absolutely amazing, thanks for that!!
No more dual boot, no more WINE to run Windows apps for which there is no Linux version! I think that message should be highlighted on the Xubuntu website to win over more Windows users who are looking for something better than Windows but at the same time rely on some Windows apps.
I guess the question still is if VirtualBox will run on a netbook with 1.6Ghz and 1GB RAM but I guess I'll just have to try it. 
Does that mean I have to re-install Xubuntu completely?

Hi,

After launching your other OS instance, you need to do "Install Guest Additions" from the devices menu, and then Seamless Mode should appear in the "Machine" menu.

There is even a thing called "Seamless Mode" which makes it seem like you have an integrated Windows + Xubuntu desktop. So you get a Windows taskbar as well as you normal Xubuntu panels, and when you launch a Windows application its window appears over the top of your normal Xubuntu desktop. It's quite cool!
