The context was: the ability to set/change shortcut (e.g. Ctrl-Shift) that would toggle the keyboard layout. One answer pointed to XFCE 4.6, and other pointed to a system-wide setting in xorg.conf.

Sorry for not being able to reply in the original thread -- should it have been possible online...

FYI, Mandriva 2009 is the *only* distro to have packaged the latest xfce4-xkb-plugin 0.5.1!

The implied idea is: there aren't so many XFCE Goodies, so, prior to a new Xubuntu release, can someone just take a look on what might be new and of interest out there in the Goodies?
