[xubuntu-users] Going from Kubuntu to Xubuntu

Alberto,

I suggest that you use the 'Alternate CD' for xubuntu - created from 'xubuntu-8.04-alternate-i386.iso'.  I find this is faster than using the 'Live CD' and works more reliably on older hardware.  I maintain xubuntu on a few PCs in my home (for myself and my kids) and I no longer bother with the Live CDs.
