[xubuntu-users] Can't mount drives

David,

Gnome Device Manager does show the two drives:

Using storage device manager I was able to mount them, and then create 
links on my desktop.

Thanks to you, and all that helped.  I know have all my music back.

Now, if I'd only not lost my iPod...
