Improving marketing of new releases

Hi Team,

I would like to bring to everyone's attention that if we can to publish
release notes at the time of betas, like other flavors did (e.g. ubuntu mate
<https://ubuntu-mate.org/blog/ubuntu-mate-focal-fossa-release-notes/>),
that this will help improve the marketing of the release.

In OMG Ubuntu's post
<https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2020/04/ubuntu-20-04-flavours-whats-new> about
the release, Joe said "*I can’t find any releases notes for Xubuntu 20.04
beta and as I’m not familiar with the release on a day-to-day basis, I
don’t feel confident at guessing what’s new beyond the inclusion of a new
dark theme.*"

In the comments of the same post
<https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2020/04/ubuntu-20-04-flavours-whats-new#comment-4861843966>,
Joe said "*... Should any other flavours be reading this: I am not the only
blogger who relies on what you put out*, so subtle plea: please include a
couple of high quality "this is what the desktop looks like by default"
screenshots in your release notes/blog posts/tweets. We will use them!*

**The more pointed your release notes are, the more likely you are to get
coverage.*" https://imgur.com/HXNK6qZ.png

This discussion also landed on twitter, where Jason Evangelho mentioned
<https://twitter.com/killyourfm/status/1247043105632792576>, "*A recent
post at @omgubuntu got some flak because a couple Ubuntu flavors didn't
have screenshots included. Yet again this is where I preach the value of
marketing, even simple things like having good assets for press. Yes, it
matters. The easier you make it to show off your Linux distro or software,
the easier it will be for press to cover it.*"

Regards,
Yousuf
