Have tested Zenwalk and I think we sould realy consider to join forces with the graphical stuff!

This is what I am saying for some time. People are choosing distro
after look. I think we can significantly liven up the interface
without a major overhaul. That's why I suggested the menu button,
though Jani said it wasn't feasible (anyhow, I make a few more
versions keep check on the wiki).
The other thing is that we use the most boring generic icon-set
amongst all the distros. Dream Linux uses fancy mac style ones. I am
arguing against this tango stuff for some time. Just using a nice icon
set would liven up significantly the desktop and this wouldn't cost
much investment.
I prefer the gnome layout, and now we have a unique opportunity to
make a fancier looking gnome style xfce distro that sticks out.
I am also arguing against the depressing over-sized panels and I've
never understood the logic behind disabling the icons.
We also need customized gtk and xfwm themes. Just fixing these simple
issues would already make a difference.
I am working on further ideas.
