xfterm4 feisty crashes?

Folks;

is it just me or is xfterm4 in feisty broken at the moment? Situation
(system updated just tomorrow):

Opening multiple xfterm4's works well, no problems.

As soon, however, as I open a new tab in an existing terminal, _all_
terminals die away reporting me an "Input/Output error". 

Anything I should know about that? Is this worth filing a bug report?
