usplash weirdness

Hi all,

I've just updated from knot 3 to beta. Almost everything works great
except the usplash. When i boot, it shows a strange animation like
effect. I mean the artwork repeats itself several times on the screen.
But after the system boots up normally. When the desktop appears, next
to the update icon a small black bomb icon shows reporting that an
application might have been crashed now or some time before. Could
this be the usplash? Just asking because the system otherwise works
perfectly.
By the way, the new clearlooks theme is gorgeous.
